SATM stores all past and present employee details. Employee personal details along with relevant supporting information are stored by the system.
SAFETY module of SATM is designed to not only analyze or assess an accident or injury but also to control its very occurrence and avoid injuries to employees as well as machine downtime. SATM's Risk Analysis procedure for accident or injury is based upon widely accepted and practiced Risk Analysis Theory by most industries.
This key feature of SATM facilitates the user to define complete structure of the plant machinery. The system allows user to create plant specific machine types. This type definition is maintained in a tree like structure by the system which can have virtually unlimited child nodes. These child nodes can be further grouped and sub-grouped which gives the system a clear understanding of what type of machines are used by the organization and what sub-parts constitute the making of any particular machine.
This service facilitates user to identify all equipment in the plant by a unique code. The equipment is categorized by pre-defined equipment type, enabling system to store and maintain an online inventory of plant machinery from pin to piano. This helps the management in optimizing the resources.
This service facilitates user to design physical layout of the plant. The system stores all the locations defined by the user, which is used to pin-point the location of the accident or injury. This facility is very useful for risk analysis and prevention of accident or injuries.
This service facilitates user to define various parameters of accident. The system maintains a list of all these parameters and uses it for accident analysis. Following parameters can be defined by the user Accident Causing Activity: Accident Causing Activities is a configurable set of activities which were happening when an accident occurred Accident Causes: Various causes of accident such as negligence, error of judgment, lack of qualification etc. can be configured here Damaged Items: This is a set of items that may be damaged by an accident. Items in this set are categorized by system defined types such as vehicle, equipment, fixture etc. Accident Result: This set is populated by defining probable result of an accident such as explosion, partly damaged equipment
This facility allows user to enter various facts and figures related to an accident. Based on these facts and figures and the adopted risk analysis matrix the system does Risk Assessment and automatically calculates the Risk Factor. It also allows entering accident investigation, causes and recommendations details.
This service facilitates user to define various parameters of injury. The system maintains a list of all these parameters and uses it for injury analysis. Following parameters can be defined by the user: Injury Incident Type: Injury Incident type is a configurable set of activities. This facility defines that an activity of this type may cause an injury Injury Nature: This facility defines that an activity of this type may cause an injury such as abrasion, burns, fractures Injury Agency: This set is generic in nature and is populated by defining probable items or equipment that cause an injury Injured Organ of Body: This set is populated by defining probable organs of body that may injure.
This facility allows user to enter various facts and figures related to an injury to an employee. Based on these facts and figures and the adopted risk analysis matrix the system does Risk Assessment and automatically calculates the Risk Factor. The system also accepts investigation, verification and preventive details.
SATM facilitates accepting suggestions as well as preventive safety measures taken by the employees. The system provides facility to management to give points to these tasks, Based on which SATM automatically decides Safety Man of The Month. The certificate to be awarded is completely customizable according to the needs of the user.
Training Scheduler is the utility where user can schedule defined courses for the defined group(s). It also keeps track of absent candidates which enables management to schedule them in another such course.
SATM's Training is an ideal module for organizations where routine in-house training for the employees is conducted. Its highly customizable and parameterized backed by Object Oriented Design. The module aims at giving management complete control of their Human Resources to target better scalability and results through improving employee skill and knowledge by a systematic approach. The system can be configured according to user's requirements in following respects: Course Definition: This facility allows user to define various courses and set its parameters such as duration, type, trainer type and its expected audience Training Groups Definition: This facility allows user to define various groups comprising of employees from different departments and skill levels Training Expense Heads Definition: This facility allows user to define various expense heads whether direct or indirect for training
SATM features Report Wizards for generating analysis reports for Accidents, Injuries, and Training etc. These wizards allow user to query on fields of his/her choice, which can also be exported to MS-Excel format. Along with these wizards there are many built-in reports for every activity
